I accidently pushed the “ok” button on my Canon IXY digital camera. It was at the “Format Memory Card” section and it took about a second or less and it showed me that only 32KB was used out of 968MB and all my images and everything was gone. Please help. I tried to download “Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery” system and it doesn’t seem to find my camera. Do I need a card reader thing? Like the device where you stick the memory card into this USB thing and then plug it into your computer? I have no idea what to do.

Well, formatting is pretty serious. It means you’ve erased that card. I can only offer you some websites where you can search for “Photo Recovery” programs. If your computer has an SD card slot, stick it in there, then go ahead and install a program (if you find one) from

you can try advanced photo recovery available for download below but you would probably be as well getting a memory card reader as they tend to work better with any recovery software.
