Hi, I’m overseas using my camera and my memory card deleted like 200 photos off of itself. I’ve tried using a bunch of different programs (at least ten) to recover the photos, and some of them can find them and others can’t, but all make you pay to actually recover them… The best luck I had was with Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery 3.1. I even tried to buy that one but for some reason it screwed up and I think I was charged but didn’t even get anything.
So my question is,
which program can I download and use to do this completely for free?

Try SanDisk RescuePro File recovery utility.
It’s given free of cost with new sd cards and works well on Windows.

If you have deleted some photo files or have a corrupted memory card the first key is don’t do anything to the disk. Don’t delete other files. Don’t take new photos or add more files. The sooner you get an undelete utility the better!
There are FREE utilities and there are TRIAL utilities. The free utilities will actually recover files. The trial software usually only tells you whether or not it can recover files and then you have to pay before you can actually recover the files.
